EU-GMP — Good Manufacturing Practice
EU-GMP is the European Union framework for good manufacturing practice for medicines and active substances. It covers quality systems, qualified facilities and equipment, validated processes, documentation, contamination control and batch quality control. The applicable requirements depend on the product and manufacturing stage; Annex 7 of EudraLex Volume 4 addresses herbal medicinal products. EU-GMP is not, by itself, an export licence.
GACP — Good Agricultural and Collection Practice
GACP provides quality principles for the cultivation, collection, harvesting and primary handling of medicinal plants. It addresses plant identity, hygiene, personnel training, records, traceability and contamination prevention. GACP and EU-GMP are complementary, not interchangeable; their boundary must be defined for the material, process and intended use.
Laboratory Testing
Every batch undergoes comprehensive third-party laboratory analysis including cannabinoid profiling, terpene analysis, pesticide screening, heavy metal testing, microbial contamination assessment, and residual solvent testing.
Export Requirements & Market Access
Medical cannabis exports require a product- and destination-specific regulatory assessment. Relevant requirements may include Thai export permissions, destination import and controlled-drug permits, an authorised importer, quality agreements, batch certificates of analysis (COAs), traceability and suitable transport conditions. EU medicinal-product supply may also require manufacturing/import authorisation and batch certification by a Qualified Person (QP). Neither EU-GMP nor GACP alone guarantees market access.

These references explain relevant standards; they do not confirm that BG InterGrow or a specific facility holds EU-GMP or GACP certification. Before any supply agreement, verify current certificates, their issuer, scope and validity, relevant GMP records in EudraGMDP, and the permits required for the proposed product and destination.
